I am excited as we begin to welcome students and staff back to school. As we proceed, it is important to note that the health and safety of everyone remain our top priority. If you are returning to campus for in-person support, please take some time to review the critical information below.
Our teachers will provide academic and enrichment activities to help students during these final weeks of school. Coming to school in-person may bring both excited and nervous feelings and please be reassured that we are here for you every step of the way. Social-emotional wellness is a critical focus for us as we bring students back to campus. If you are concerned and think that your child could do with some extra support, please reach out! We have a team of incredible people on standby in addition to our school counselors to provide care, compassion, and understanding.
Parents in the Rowland Unified School District will have a choice to bring their students on campus for in-person support services in the afternoons starting April 26. At Jellick Elementary, students are able to attend for in-person support on Monday and Thursdays for students in grades TK - 2) and Tuesday and Friday for students in grades 3 - 6. This is not a drop-in program and parents will need to inform their school site they are interested in having their child attend no later than April 20, 2021. Per Public Health guidelines, we are limited to a maximum of 14 students in a classroom and thus required to create and maintain a stable class list of students who will be attending in-person. Parents will also need to fill out and return a Parent/Guardian Safety Agreement before students return to campus.
The Parent/Guardian Safety Agreement form requires you to use your ParentSquare login to complete and digitally sign the form. If you forgot your password or need support, contact the school office and we can assist you.
