The Jellick staff is working overtime as we finish up a productive year of learning and decide what to box up for our move. Yes, we are temporarily moving to Farjardo this summer.
Your Bond dollars are modernizing our classrooms. We are getting the basics done: new water, electrical, gas, and sewer lines. We are also upgrading walls so they meet the latest safety and energy efficiency codes. Finally, the rooms will have additional internet/network jacks and a beautiful new "learning wall." Take a look at the pictures!
Of course, with all the construction (trenches, pipes, electrical, etc.) it is safer to have our students at another site. That's why we will begin school August 22 at Farjardo. We will be there until the construction is completed and return to brand new rooms in January. We are currently working with our transportation department and will be busing students from Jellick to Farjardo (and back to Jellick). I will have more information as we get closer to the end of the year.
