Would you like to know how to assist your child become more successful in school? The answer to each of these questions can be obtained if you attend this meeting.
State regulations require that parents of English learners constitute at least the same percentage of the English Learner Advisory Committee membership as their children represent of the student body. Members of the English Learner Advisory Committee give advice and feedback to the principal regarding English learner programs.
Jellick Elementary School will hold its first English Learner Advisory Committee meeting on Tuesday, November 15, 2011 at 8:00 am in the Library.
We cordially invite you to this important meeting where members will be nominated & elected to the ELAC and we will discuss English Learner programs that are in place at our school to help our English learner students do better in their education.
