HOLIDAY BASKET PROGRAM FOR RUSD FAMILIES IN NEED
Dear Students and Parents,
As we enter this holiday season, compassion for others and acts of goodwill enhance our community of caring. For more than 45 years, Rowland Unified School District has worked together with our community groups in a Holiday Basket Program providing all of the necessary ingredients for preparations of special meals for families in need. Donating to the Holiday Basket Program is an opportunity to share with others less fortunate in our community.
The Walnut Valley Rotary Club and other community volunteers are conducting this Holiday Basket Program, with the assistance of Rowland Unified School District Employees; Rowland and Nogales High Schools Interact Clubs; and the Rowland, Nogales, and Santana High Schools ASBs. Our goal is to distribute baskets for 200 families in need within the District attendance area. We are again asking for your support in these efforts through donations of canned and packaged non-perishable foods.
Please send your donations to school with your child starting on Monday, November 28, and continuing through Wednesday, December 14. All donations collected will be distributed to those in need.
